Thanks to all who have written this week! Besides feeling quite thankful for all our safe journeys and good health, we are thankful to have such great friends and family who keep in touch and bring news from home.
I cooked a 4.5lb turkey in the oven yesterday, along with string beans, potatoes, yams, stuffing, gravy. Maya has been enjoying having the sparkling cider all to herself. When the temperature outside cools down I’ll start baking pumpkin pecan pies. Our leftovers will help us during our trip to the Grand Canyon tomorrow.
I painted two canvases yesterday, which are almost ready to show (I now have 14 unfinished paintings). Maya has been collecting rocks again. We’ve identified several, and are having a hard time keeping just one of each. It’s an obsession now. I sometimes wonder if our transmission problems have to do with loading down the RV with rocks!
