Triptych abstract inspired
by the pumpkin patch

These three panels were inspired by the bright colors at the pumpkin patch we visited in November of 2008. Purple rain boots against the orange pumpkins, the bright yellow-green apple tree leaves, and the blue shadows made some colorful images.

Purchase these individually or all three to hang a triptych in your living room or office. They are featured at  ModPod, Modern Fun Furnishings, on Second Street in Corvallis, Oregon.

Instead of showing work at the Corvallis Art guild’s 48th Annual Clothesline Sale*, I opted to paint plein air at the Mt Tabor Centennial Celebration in Portland.

I had a lovely time showing my work to the neighborhood, painting with other artists, and partaking of the parades, concerts, and people/dog/kid watching.

I sold my first plein air piece of the weekend (I forgot to take a photo of it) from the plein air exhibit, and 2 studio pieces from my booth.

Here are my second and third plein air works.

* Not sure who gave the Gazette-Times the names of exhibitors. I’m thrilled for the publicity; but I was not scheduled to be there!
