I sold three Canyon Dream paintings this week, so am eager to repaint some of them.
They never look the same twice; I’m just not that kind of artist.

For weeks now, I’ve been trying to work out what this painting ought to be. I think it is done now. Not sure if this one is the start of a new series or not.

I have plenty of my own photos to paint from until I can get outside to paint plein air.
But I have never been to Norway to paint, so I have done it virtually, for the Virtual Paintout monthly challenge. It uses Google Maps to help artists find a view of the city they want to paint.

Due to some technical glitches, I am repainting this series. I’m experimenting with thick, squirted paint and a funny brush made of several rubber tips.
Check back next week for the final work. The paints are quite thick and take a long time to dry.
Here is me and my granddaughter having a great time at the duck pond.
I smile bigger when she’s around…such a delightful kido.
