Throughout my travels, especially when I’m the driver and everyone else is asleep, I like to imaging painting the scene out the window. Rows of trees and cloud formations are the most fun.
When I get home I am ready to use paint to paint the scene, since I’ve practiced in my mind how the color and strokes should go together.
This third version of Valley Evening exaggerates the color and introduces color in the foreground to tie-in the background colors.
