I’ve painted this one to meet the Daily Paintworks challenge. I’ve used my usual loose style in oil on Claybord.

It’s hard to get the really saturated colors present on the shiny purple giftbag…it reflects a lot of permanent rose but purple diazinon does not dry shiny…it dries flat, so perhaps later I’ll add a shiny varnish.

Yes, I drank the cocoa. Mmmmm.

I’m hanging some work at the Albany Heartspring Wellness Center but they needed another piece for an exam room.

This image is based on a smaller daily painting done earlier this year. We’ll see how it looks on their deep orange wall.

I just hate wasting paint, so I keep painting until the palette is clean. This Willamette River scene was the result of yesterday and today’s palette cleaning.
