Our new favorite camping spot is Quartzville Drive, just outside Sweet Home, Oregon. You can camp for free along side the road anywhere there is a fire pit. The views are spectacular! From most sites, you can see right down into the water.
We found a spot that had a waterfall and swimming hole with a rock to jump from.
Except for the traffic and litter everywhere, the easy access and amenities are excellent!
I had ample time to paint, since there was no phone or wi-fi reception…a real vacation spot.
