For the Mt Tabor (Portland, Oregon) 100 year anniversary celebration, I’ll be painting out on the mountain. From 10am to 1pm I’ll be demonstrating my techniques. In addition, I’ll be selling works at my booth near the playground.
For the month of July, 2009, my work (new and old) will be on exhibit at the following locations. I hope you can swing by to take a peek.

From now until March 15, 2009, I’ll have 10 pieces exhibiting at Bombs Away Cafe in the back dining room. Eight of the works will be the Food on the Table Series of 12×12 canvases depicting some favorite foods.
The other two are are larger work; one of the Santiam River, painted en plain air last summer, and one of Poppies and Sunflowers (see previous post).
Enjoy excellent Latin food along with the show.
Our Fish Story, a juried art exhibit, opens February 2, 2009 at Oregon State University’s Giustina Gallery. The Artist’s Reception is 6:30pm to 8:30pm on February 6, 2009. The exhibit closes March 10, 2009.
This half of the 6-panel polyptych will be on display along with many other artists from around the country.

I’m watching a lot of girls basketball lately and marvel at how the girls can fly, dive, roll, jump, etc. They have no fear and take jabs with almost no tears.
How the new generation is evolved!
This piece will be hung in the Oregon State University’s Memorial Union later this month for a show, “She Flies with her Own Wings,” sponsored by the Women’s Center on campus.
The show runs January 30 to February 23. The public reception is February 4 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
Hurrah for Title IX!
Between now and Oct 21, I have a large show of landscapes and portraits hanging in the Uniterian-Universalist Fellowship of Corvallis sancturary. The scenes are from my travels around the South and Southwest, as well as the Willamette Valley and Oregon Coast.
