These attentive parents were introducing their young one to the Oneonta Creek in the Columbia River Gorge on the Oregon side last August.
It was nearing the end of the day, so birds were feeding on the insects and the quaking leaves were leaving a dappled pattern on the ground.
I’ve probably said this before, but I love to paint water and enjoy watching figures emerge in the scene.
