Corvallis Artist, Oregon Artist. Creating Every Day…paintings, web sites, and courses Oregon daily painter, murals and portraits. Corvallis Web Designer / Web Developer. Original abstract landscape oil paintings
From August 1 – 31, I have eleven oil and acrylic paintings hanging at Timberhill Athletic club, along with paintings by local abstract painter, Jake Dorr.
I missed the reception last night for the She Project, but you can still see the exhibit in the Meeting room at the Corvallis Library on Monroe street until June 30. I submitted this interpretation of “Her mistake turned out good.”
These artists added me to their Etsy Treasuries, which often show up on the home page. It’s like having pieces accepted into juried exhibits but for free!

I hope you’ll participate in this week’s Art Walk in Corvallis. Read the schedule and locations at the Visit Corvallis web site. My new Song Bird series will be at the Mod Pod on Second Street.
Tonight my work is part of a group showing at the Timeless Talisman Gallery in the Reed Opera House in Salem, Oregon. Join local artists for a viewing and learn about their work. Unfortunately, I cannot attend.
The new Timeless Talisman Gallery in Salem, Oregon will be showing a few of my daily paintings in their gallery in November. They’ll be open for the First Wednesday Art Walk. Go to Downtown Salem on November 3 and celebrate the season change with art, music, dining, and good old shopping fun.
One of my works is highlighted in the Gazette-Times article about the First Thursday Art Walk for Nov 4, 2010.
I’ll be selling my original 8×8 daily paintings at Corvallis Fall Festival on Sept 25 from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Sept 26 from 10:00am to 5:00pm at Central Park.
These Etsy Treasuries include my Roses Climbing Bricks, Family at the Gorge, Sushi, and Canyon Dreams paintings! Thank you to these Etsy shop owners for adding me to their treasuries:
The Northwest Healing Center, where I get acupuncture, has allowed me to hang many of my larger works in their office.
I noticed a few hooks with no pictures and asked if I could hang my work. They were so kind to say yes (I now have more room in my home for moving around)!
Five Etsy sellers have listed five of my works in Etsy Treasuries this month. These treasuries show up on the Etsy home page and help bring traffic to my shop. This post started out with 2 and now lists 5 just for the month of May. I’m thrilled and honored.
Thank you to these wonderful Etsy shop owners for showing my work:

Josephine County’s CASA program asked me to paint something with a heart to donate to their fundraiser auction. I put two kids in a field with a heart-shaped kite and used as few brush strokes as possible (to keep from over working it) to render an abstracted scene in acrylic.
This piece will be part of the “Hearts and Heroes” art exhibit and auction to benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center and CASA program in Josephine County, OR, which starts April 1, 2010. April is National Child Abuse and Awareness month. Each piece to be exhibited includes a heart.
All work will be auctioned May 7, 2010 at a benefit dinner. One-hundred percent of the money raised goes towards Child Abuse Advocacy in Josephine County, Oregon.
